| Calculation Method |
- If the return on the Reference Portfolio is
greater than the Maximum Rate of Return for the Term, the Rate of Return
for the Term is equal to the Maximum Rate of Return for the Term.
- If the return on the Reference Portfolio is
greater than zero but less than or equal to the Maximum Rate of Return
for the Term, the Rate of Return for the Term is equal to the return on
the Reference Portfolio.
- If the return on the Reference Portfolio is less than or equal to zero, the Rate of Return for the Term is equal to zero.
The return on the Reference Portfolio equals the average return on the stocks in the Reference Portfolio, with the return on each stock calculated as follows:
