Accidental Death Benefit
You can select coverage to meet your needs from principal sums of $100,000 up to $200,000, in increments of $25,000.
Additional Accidental Benefits
- Dismemberment: 100% of the principal sum
- Paralysis: 100% of principal sum
- Rehabilitation Expenses: 10% of the principal sum/year up to 3 years
- Spousal Occupational Training: 5% of the principal sum/ year up to 3 years
- Education Expenses: 5% of the principal sum/year up to 5 years
- Job Loss Premium Protection: Premium payment for up
to 6 months
Eligibility
You must be a BMO Bank of Montreal customer, a resident of Canada and not over age 80.
When Does Coverage Begin and End?
Coverage begins:
- immediately upon enrolment
You remain covered as long as:
- You are a BMO Bank of Montreal customer
- You pay your premiums, and
- The Master Policy is in effect *
Cost
- The cost of the insurance coverage (premium) is paid on a monthly basis and depends on the plan in which you are enrolled.
