How to Get Started:

If you are not already signed up for BMO Global Money Transfer, visit your local branch where we will take care of the details.  You will need to bring the recipient’s name and address, as well as their bank name and account number in Portugal.

How to Send Money to Portugal:

• Online Banking: If you are an existing Online Banking customer Sign in to Online Banking and transfer money into your BMO Global Money Transfer service, you can register for Online Banking to send money.
• At the branch: You can visit any of our branches and register to send money.
• At any BMO ABM or using Telephone Banking.

BMO has a preferential arrangement with Millennium BCP to offer you lower fees for transfer to Millennium BCP accounts than to other banks in Portugal.

Beneficiary Banks:

Funds can be sent to the following specified Portuguese banks.  All transfers to these Portuguese banks will be in Euros, with the exception of Millennium BCP Bank which can also accept Canadian dollar transfers.
