Investment Objectives and Strategies

The fund's objective is to provide a high level of total return through a combination of income and capital appreciation by investing primarily in fixed income securities issued by U.S. corporations.

The fund is invested in a diversified pool of U.S. high yield fixed income securities, such as bonds and debentures issued by corporations. It invests primarily in high yield securities with a credit rating below BBB, or "below" investment grade. The portfolio manager analyzes the credit ratings of a variety of issuers and applies bottom up quantitative and fundamental analysis to seek the best potential investments for the portfolio.
