Here are some of the student and new graduate recruitment programs
offered by BMO Financial Group.

BMO National Scholarship Program
In 1996, Bank of Montreal partnered with the Province of Ontario and the University of Toronto to offer a
scholarship program open to all high school students across Canada. The result of this initiative was the BMO National
Scholarship Program at the University of Toronto, awarding an average of 8 scholarships every year. National Scholars are
associated with the Bank both on and off campus, through their undergraduate studies and also provided with internship
opportunities at BMO.
Candidate Profile: National Scholar candidates are selected from a pool of hundreds of applicants in their
final year of high school through a rigorous written and interview process. Criteria of this process include academic
excellence and curiosity, personal contribution to their community, and creative, original thought. The individuals
represent an extensive range of histories and achievements, as well as future aspirations and interests.

The Canadian
Bankers Association has partnered with Career Edge to offer a pilot
internship program for people with disabilities interested in working
in the financial services industry.
Career Edge
was developed by Canadian business leaders committed to making a
significant contribution to enhancing youth employability. BMO Bank
of Montreal is proud to participate in this program which provides
opportunities for interns in four key elements - work experience,
learning, coaching and networking. At BMO Financial Group we strive
to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to work in
all areas of the bank
Candidate Profile:
This internship program is designed for interns who are graduates
of university, college or high school who are eligible to work in
Canada and who have had no prior career related work experience.

Nesbitt Burns'
Investment and Corporate Banking team provides corporations and
governments with a variety of capital raising and financial advisory
services. Capital raising activities include debt and equity security
underwriting, securitization, private placements and project leveraged
financing while financial advisory services include mergers and
acquisitions, strategic advice, restructurings, recapitalizations,
takeover defense, fairness opinions and valuations.
Associates work
with other members of Investment and Corporate Banking on public
underwritings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions and
advisory projects. They also analyze financial and capital markets
alternatives.
Analysts perform
research on specific companies, stock price analyses, discounted
cash flow analyses and financial modelling.
They also gain
exposure to capital markets and mergers and acquisitions as well
as support various Investment and Corporate Banking client and transaction
teams.
Associate Candidate
Profile: The Associate graduate placement program is designed for
individuals with an MBA, and previous relevant work experience.
Analyst Candidate
Profile: The Analyst 2 to 3 years in duration and is designed for
individuals with a university degree with a concentration in finance.
Both programs
will be attractive to individuals of high academic standing. Following
the Analyst program there is the potential for advancement to associate.

POSSIBILITIES
- Youth Internship Scholarship Program is a BMO Bank of Montreal education
and work experience initiative aimed at visible minority and aboriginal
youth and youth with disabilities. This program works in partnership
with local school boards and community organizations in the following
cities across Canada, Montreal, Halifax, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina,
Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. This program reinforces BMO Bank of
Montreal's commitment in educating today's youth to become tomorrow's
professionals.
Student's internship
involves placements within BMO Bank of Montreal for a total of 30 days
between October and May.
Candidate Profile:
This internship program is for students, who are from one or more
of the designated groups. In their final year of high school, who
have achieved an above average academic record and are actively
involved in community and/or extracurricular activities.
Recruitment:
Recruiting for new sessions begins in April and application deadlines
are in early May. Please contact your local school board.
