Robert holds a BComm., MBA as well as a CGA designation.

Gordon Taylor is National Director, Dealership Finance and manages Bank of Montreal’s funding relationship with financiaLinx Corporation, Canada’s largest independent car leasing company. Gordon is also responsible for dealership finance auto manufacturer relationships and supporting the strategic direction of the business. Gordon received his MBA from Concordia University and has over 20 years of diversified experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial policy and strategy, and development and execution of enterprise and business strategies.

Michael Darling is a Managing Director of Dealership Finance and is responsible for overseeing the market in Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Michael has been with BMO Financial Group since 1988 and has extensive experience in risk management, commercial banking and various other leadership roles. Prior to assuming his current role, Michael managed the Dealership Finance team in Western Canada. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of New Brunswick and a Masters of Business Administration from Dalhousie University.

Richard Lajeunesse is a Managing Director of Dealership Finance and is responsible for overseeing the Group’s activities in Quebec. Richard is a CFA charter holder, has a M.Sc. in Applied Economics from HEC Montreal, B.Sc. (Econ), as well as an LL.L from the University of Ottawa, and is also a member of the Quebec Bar. Richard has over 15 years of diversified experience in the banking industry.

Pat Thompson is Managing Director of BMO Dealership Finance and is responsible for the Dealership Finance business in Western Canada. Pat has over 30 years experience with Bank of Montreal, the last five of which have been in Dealership Finance. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Dalhousie University.
